Join the PIB cluster LinkedbyOffshoreWind (LBOW) during their trade mission to Poland’s largest wind event, the highly acclaimed PSEW Windconference 2024. For clustermembers and other Dutch guests there will be a prominent stand available and mission participants will attend in in local company visits and join several dedicated networking meetings.

According to the recently published Global Wind Report 2024, 42GW of offshore capacity is set to be build in 2024-2028 in Europe. Out of that, 11% comes from Poland. The country’s first offshore wind project, Baltic Power (1.2 GW), is expected to be operational in 2026. Developer Orlen Neptun has taken significant steps towards building its own installation port in the Polish harbor city Świnoujscie.

- Świnoujscie region: SECOND FOCAL POINT -

During previous missions organised by Linked by Offshore Wind we allready noticed that the region of Świnoujsci and Szczecin in north western Poland is becoming the second focal point for the industry. This is due to the construction of the port and the developments in the region such as the Vestas turbine factory.
