DEME Offshore to provide EPCI services in Vietnam

DEME Offshore is partnering with oil and gas contractor Vietsovpetro to provide EPCI services in Vietnam.

Under the partnership the company will provide complete services for an undisclosed project, suspected to be the 3.5 GW La Gàn project. Vietsovpetro was one of several contractors that signed MoUs with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) in February. The project will see component fabrication from numerous players including Vietsovpetro, PVC-MS, Alpha ECC, Lilama and Doosan. DEME Offshore’s scope will include transport and installation of foundations, turbines and cables, working with local contractors.
