Digital trade mission for offshore wind to Ireland continued successfully.

On 13 and 14 September, RVO/ICEP, in collaboration with the Dutch Embassy in Dublin and Holland Home of Wind Energy (HHWE), organized four meet the buyer sessions for the Irish offshore wind market. The aim of these sessions was to bring large and small companies from both countries together.

In these sessions, Dutch companies were able to present themselves to a number of large project developers from the Irish offshore wind sector. On the second day, the setup was reversed and Irish companies could present themselves to Dutch TIER1 companies such as Van Oord, Smulders, Mammoet, Royal Haskoning DHV, Boskalis and Fugro.

The Dutch contractors and the Irish developers presented their ongoing and future projects followed by elevator pitches of Dutch and Irish companies showcasing their capabilities. This unique digital B2B matchmaking and networking platform proved to be a great success. This event, in which 42 companies took part, is a follow-up of the Dutch virtual Trade Mission Offshore Wind to Ireland (14-18 June) in which 150 companies participated.
