The floating offshore wind conference FOWT 2022 took place in Montpellier from 15 to 17 May.

RVO/ICEP, in collaboration with HHWE and the NBSO, organized a stand in Nantes in which 14 Dutch offshore wind companies participated. The conference was well attended and the stands at the fair also received a lot of interest.

On Sunday there was a meeting organized by the 4 offshore wind regions in France where floating offshore wind projects are also being realized.
On Tuesday there was a presentation of the offshore wind supply chain from the Netherlands, Germany, the Basque Country, Norway, France, Scotland and Belgium. This meeting was initiated by HHWE.

The Dutch companies that participated in the Dutch booth were: Primo Marine, Boskalis, Van Oord, KenzFigee, FibreMax, Marin, TouchWind, Huisman Equipment, Corrosion, Cortland, Vryhof, N Sea, GustoMSC/NOV and Mocean.

France has big plans when it comes to offshore wind, 40 GW in 2050. A large part of this is floating wind.
