The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) have scheduled a series of webinars (10 March 2022 and 5 April 2022) to provide wind farm developers with a comprehensive geotechnical data set of the Ten noorden van de Waddeneilanden Wind Farm Zone. RVO together with contractors Fugro and NGI have undertaken cutting edge investigations and study work. More information and registration details can be found on https://offshorewind.rvo.nl/
Integrated Geological Model
The results of the studies carried out comes together in a high-end Integrated Geological Model (IGM). This IGM enables users to interrogate the subsoil stratigraphy and geotechnical properties to depths of around 100m below seabed. A brief summary of the IGM is visualised in a short movie. The webinars will elaborate on the results of the study works and showcase some of the innovative methods that have been implemented to enhance the IGM. During these webinars there is an opportunity for the audience to ask questions.
An independent evaluation of the results has been performed by DNV, ensuring compliance is met with internationally recognized standards and processes.
