Jumbo Shipping wraps up transport contract for Hornsea Two offshore wind farm

For DEME Offshore, Jumbo has successfully completed the transport of 141 MPs and 131 TPs for Ørsted’s Hornsea II offshore wind farm.

Some key features are:

• Jumbo’s largest number of MPs and TPs ever shipped on a single contract (and with a single heavy lift vessel, HLV Fairmaster, 2x1500t SWL)

• project scope completed under twelve months in 37 voyages from Rostock and Aalborg to Eemshaven

• engineered flexible solutions, a.o. 3 different loading configurations without the need for re-configuration standby time

• Fairmaster sailed with Bio-Fuel Oil from GoodFuels to reduce environmental footprint of Hornsea II
