Trade mission from Taiwan to the Netherlands

A delegation from Taiwan visited the Netherlands from 5 to 9 June. The delegation consisted of representatives from the business community, knowledge institutions and the government. The mission, with the themes aquafarming, offshore wind, floating offshore wind and hydrogen, was successful.

The purpose of the mission was to exchange knowledge on the themes mentioned.

On the Dutch side, various companies and knowledge institutions have contributed to the programme. In addition to knowledge exchange, ideas were also discussed for closer cooperation between Taiwanese companies and knowledge institutions and their Dutch counterparts.

Knowledge was shared from both sides on various themes, especially offshore wind-related themes. There was also a lot of interest in the hydrogen topic because this theme is still in its infancy in Taiwan. Collaboration opportunities have been explored.
